SafeLink Guardian

A free personal-safety companion for people who travel alone or feel at risk. With one action — a button, a spoken word in the user's own language, or a missed check-in — it alerts a circle of contacts the user has chosen, streams the user's live location, and records photographs and audio that are bound to the incident with a SHA-256 hash, so it can later be shown that the files were not altered. It carries verified emergency numbers for 38 countries.

What it does not do

It does not prevent an attack, does not call emergency services on the user's behalf and does not guarantee that an alert arrives — it needs an internet connection. It does not replace victim support services and is not a medical device; it is a tool in the person's own hands.

GDPR-based data protection

Personal data is handled under the EU General Data Protection Regulation. Where a provider outside the European Economic Area is involved, the transfer relies on the safeguards the GDPR requires.

SafeLink Guardian has no paid tier, no trial period, no in-app payments, no advertising and no sale of data.

Transparent financials

Account held with Wise Europe SA. Donations are handled under our published Donation Terms. The first annual report is due by 30 June 2027. No hidden beneficiaries.

One accountable board member

The association is represented by its sole management board member, as recorded in the Commercial Register.
